Description
Go up refers to the natural ballers’ movement and the grace beyond this sport. Its harmony and beauty is captured in its verticality, by the photographer Mouhammadou Sy (Dansaert, 2020). Through these magnificent analog pictures taken with a Nikon F2, we can observe the magical sunset reflects on the athletes.
One of these pictures is framed in a impressive black wooden structure hand decorated by the artist @itsvhml with positive messages related to sport. Influenced by contemporary artists such as Keith Haring, this artist attempts to bring attention by mixing letters creating words, sentences and at the end a magnificent piece of art.
These photographies carry us in other parts of the world such as New York by freezing some moments of a basketball game occurred on the Dansaert basketball court few days after the artwork inauguration (summer 2020). The photographer wanted to point out the fighting spirit that the basketball players need on and off the court to rise whatever their social background.
